“…It was reasonable that Na 2 Mo 2 O 7 was formed in the preparation of the Mo-TP and the Mo-HS. Na 2 Mo 2 O 7 possessed an excellent catalytic activity and Na 2 MoO 4 was not the active species, which was quite in line with the result [25,26,27]. In addition, O 2− ions in the oxygen deficient regions in Mo-TP and Mo-HS promoted the formation of active ·OH radicals [28].…”

“…39,40 Similarly, Mo involved supported, bimetallic and hybrid catalysts have been found to be efficient for O 2 activation under mild conditions recently. [41][42][43] In addition, Fe 2 O 3 -CeO 2 -TiO 2 / Al 2 O 3 , supported bimetallic Au-Pd materials and Zn(0) were all synthesized for CWAO at R.T. [44][45][46] Therefore, the key point in the activation of O 2 for the oxidative degradation of aqueous organics under ambient conditions is the rational design and scientific preparation of catalysts.…”

“…Three additional XRD peaks appear during the discharge process and get intense with the discharging as indicated with red arrows in Figure b. These peaks are matched with the additional Na 2 Mo 2 O 7 (PDF 73–1797) phase . The peak intensity of the Na 2 Mo 2 O 7 phase is higher in the fully discharged electrode.…”
