“…The concentration of the solution will be controlled around~10% (wt). The homogeneous and viscous PAA resin was produced with a high inherent viscosity of 1.34-1.75 dL/g, which indicates that the polymeric precursor have a relatively high molecular weight [11][12][13].…”

“…They are hard to simultaneously meet the challenging requirements of high dimensional stability, good optical transmission, excellent mechanical property, and high temperature resistance. And among all the requirements, dimensional stability is the most important factor of materials for diffractive optical Polymers 2021, 13, 1001 2 of 11 use. In the process of material synthesis, storage, structure manufacturing, ground prototype research, and development, PI membranes will face different thermal and moisture environment.…”

“…A series-copolymerized thermoplastic polyimides were successfully prepared using 3,4 0 -oxydiphthalic anhydride (a-ODPA), 4,4 0 -oxydiphthalicanhydride (s-ODPA), 9,9 0bis(4-aminophenyl)fluorene (BAFL), and 2,2-bis [4-(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl]propane (BAPP) by Cao et al 28 They reported the glass transition temperature (T g ) of these polyimides, with different ratios, to be in the range of 235-305 C. They were completely soluble in DMF, DMAc, and NMP within 3 h, indicating that they had excellent solubility. Furthermore, Kuang et al 29 successfully prepared a new diamine, namely, 10,10-bis [4-(4-aminophenoxy)-3-methylphenyl]-9(10H)-anthrone (BAMPA), which contains bulky 9(10H)-anthrone units. A series of polyimides that contain methyl substituents and 9(10H)-anthrone pendant groups was prepared from this diamine with various aromatic dianhydrides using polyamic acid (PAA) precursors via a thermal or chemical imidization procedure.…”
