“…Recently, with the rapid development of various devices, the attractive improvement of the piezoelectric performance has been continuously required in the electronics industry. In addition, Pb‐free piezoelectric ceramics have been also widely studied to replace Pb(Zr,Ti)O 3 (PZT)‐based ceramics owing to the global interest about environment . Among the Pb‐free ceramics, (K,Na)NbO 3 (KNN)‐based ceramics have gained considerable attention due to the high piezoelectric response which was observed in the textured microstructure.…”

“…For example, high-performance KNN-based piezoelectric ceramics was fabricated by reactive template grain growth method, which achieved a large coupling factor of k p = 0.61, a high Curie temperature of T C = 253°C, and a large piezoelectric constant of d 33 = 416 pC/N. [10][11][12] For the low-cost mass production of template particles for textured ceramics, Karaki et al reported that hydrothermal synthesis presents the most promising route. In particular, platelike NaNbO 3 templates have been used in (K, Na)NbO 3 , 7 BaTiO 3 , 8 and Bi 0.5 Na 0.5 TiO 3 9 textured ceramics.…”

“…Niobium(V) oxide is always the reagent used in high temperature synthesis [15][16][17]. Indeed NaNbO 3 particles were synthesized by using conventional mixed-oxide (CMO), molten salt synthesis (MSS), topochemical micro-crystal conversion methods (TMC) [18][19][20][21], and hydrothermal process [4,[22][23][24][25][26][27]. Liang et al reported the synthesis of micrometric truncated cuboids NaNbO 3 [4], NaNbO 3 were synthesized through calcining the Na 2 Nb 2 O 6 .…”
