Synthesis and in-vitro antioxidant and antitumor evaluation of novel pyrazole-based heterocycles

Abstract: Hydrazide-hydrazone, namely, N′-((5-chloro-3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methylene)-2-cyanoacetohydrazide 3, was utilized as a key starting material for the construction of a variety of novel heterocyclic moieties. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analyses and spectral data (IR, 1 H-NMR, and mass spectra).
