Synthesis and Properties of Cathode Materials xLi2MnO3 · (1−x)LiMn0.3Ni0.4Co0.3O2 for Li-Ion Batteries

Abstract: The cathode materials xLi2MnO3 x (1 - x)LiMn0.3Ni0.4Co0.3O2 (x = 0, 0.2) for Li-Ion batteries were prepared with the help of sol-gel method using citric acid as a chelating agent. Its structural and electrochemical properties were investigated using X-ray diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy, galvanostatic charge-discharge test. Differences between electrochemical and chemical activation of the Li2MnO3 component are discussed. The results indicated that xLi2MnO3 x (1 - x)LiMn0.3Ni0.4Co0.3O2 cathode mat… Show more

“…It indicated a glucose-dependent release manner. [170] β-palmitoyl-γ-oleoyl-lγ-phosphatidylethanolamine and oleic acid was used to create a pH-responsive liposome with glucose oxidase that released insulin effectively based on the environmental glucose concentration. [171] In a recent study, Veiseh et al mixed a number of techniques to reach a proper insulin release and as it was expected, a smart patch with hypoxia-responsive microneedles and glucose-responsive nanoparticles containing insulin led to a glucose-dependent insulin release.…”

“…[7] The size and morphology of phosphor particles affects the characteristics of phosphor materials when used in displays and lamps. [8] Phosphor particles have high photoluminescence intensity as well as fine size and regular morphology because of thorough mixing of strontium and cerium components of the as-prepared particles. For fine size Sr 2 CeO 4 phosphor particles, prepared smaller Sr 2 CeO 4 phosphor particles give stronger emission intensity than larger particles.…”

“…Besides, the poor interfacial adhesion between FG and polymeric matrix, resulting from the scarcity of functional groups on the surface of FG, extremely hindered their practical applications in enhancement of polymer. Taking the above problems into account, an easy-operating method for synthesizing the functional group-rich FG is of great importance to exhibit its mechanical and tribological properties [30][31][32] and research its novel role as a nanofiller in polymer matrix.…”
