“…26 To predict equilibrium parameters, Freundlich (eqn S8 in ESI †) and Langmuir (eqn S9 in ESI †) isotherms were plotted. 27,28 In addition, regeneration of Cel-HTT was performed aer FLX and MB adsorption using ethanol absolute. Adsorption was conducted at pH 7.5 on 25 ppm FLX or MB using a dose of 1.33 g L −1 till reaching equilibrium, then the particles were washed with 50 mL ethanol absolute for 30 min, dried and weighed again.…”

“…5 To get rid of these hazardous substances, effluents must be properly treated before being discharged into the aquatic environment. 6 For this reason, a variety of conventional techniques are used, such as membrane processes for separation, sono-oxidation, chemical and electrochemical precipitation, adsorption, bio-degradation, flocculation, sedimentation, membrane filtration, and coagulation, which are physical and chemical techniques that have been used to remove highly toxic compounds. However, these pollutants cannot be eliminated due to a variety of restrictions.…”

“…[1][2][3][4] Adsorption, reverse osmosis, electrochemical process, coagulation, enzymatic treatment and ionexchange processes are very expensive, complicated techniques that produce a second generation of pollutant materials. [5][6][7][8][9][10] Photocatalysis on the surface of semiconductors is a green technology for the destruction of organic wastes into eco-friendly species. The photocatalytic reaction requires two factors to achieve optimization conditions.…”
