Abstract:Biphenyl-2-ylcarbamoylmethyliminodiacetic acid (BPIDA) was synthesized, characterized, and labeled with 99m Tc using stannous chloride as reducing agent. The parameters affecting the labeling yield of 99m Tc-BPIDA were studied in detail. The optimum conditions ensuring the 99m Tc-BPIDA labeling yield as high as 85.4 ± 3% are as follows: 2 mg of BPIDA, 20 μg of SnCl 2 ·2H 2 O, pH 6, 15 min. Biodistribution of 99m Tc-BPIDA revealed high liver uptake (18.63% at 10 min) which is higher than that of commercially av… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
