Synthesis of Highly Crystalline Needle-Like Silicon Nanowires for Enhanced Field Emission Applications

Abstract: Needle-like silicon nanowires (SiNWs) were successfully synthesized on gold-coated silicon substrates using a very high frequency plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition method (VHF-PECVD).
