Abstract:Сo-polycondensation products (xerogels) of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and 3-aminopropyl-tris(2-hydroxypropoxy)silane (APT-PGL) with tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) were obtained by sol-gel method in aqueous medium, in which APTES and APT-PGL play dual role both as co-monomers and catalysts for hydrolysis and co-condensation reactions.
