Synthesis, spectroscopic, electrochemical, magnetic properties and super oxide dismutase activity of nickel (II) complexes with unsymmetrical Schiff base ligands
Abstract:pyrid-2-ylmethyl) ethylenediamine, have been synthesized and characterized by using elemental analyses, FAB (fast atomic bombardment), magnetic measurements, electronic absorption , conductivity measurements, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and IRspectroscopy. All the complexes yielded an irreversible couple that can be assigned to a Ni II → Ni I redox process. Infrared spectra, ligand field spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements agree with the observed octahedral environment. H 2 BHM is a diprotic tridentat… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
