Abstract:Metal‐containing peptide (bio−)conjugates have received continuous interest due to their enormous potential for bioinorganic and medicinal research. In many bioconjugates the chemical inertness of the metal‐containing units facilitates synthesis e. g. by copper‐catalyzed alkyne−azide cycloaddition or the formation of peptide bonds. However, when the metal complex contains labile ligands, which are often critical to their biological activity, the synthetic proceeding requires careful planning. Here, we report o… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
