System Architecture of a Student Relationship Management System using Internet of Things to collect Digital Footprint of Higher Education Institutions

Abstract: Effective system development to support higher education institutions is important. There are two steps in developing a good system and they are system architecture analysis and design. The first task of this research is to design the use case diagrams, system overview and the system architecture. The second is to evaluate the system architecture of a proposed Student Relationship Management (SRM) system using Internet of Things (IoT) to collect digital footprint of higher education institutions. The outcome … Show more

“…Online education increases communication and timely feedback on the course, but it's also faced with some challenges, e.g., online teachers can encounter different technical problems (such as network connection, hardware incompatibility), students lack the experiences in online education, and there is some difficulty in teaching certain procedural topics online [23][24][25]. Despite of these problem, the new online teaching method has still become an important auxiliary measure of traditional teaching [26,27].…”

“…The development of education with the application of IoT will increase efficiency and support a smart higher education institution. The key step in system development is the analysis of the organization architecture and system design that brings IoT into use to manage the organization's infrastructure system [48]. Smart education management is a type of management and learning environment that combines operations with services based on the internet and through various technology applications.…”
