The literature data on the etiology and pathogenesis of swim bladder inflammation (SBI) in various fish species have been highlighted in the paper. The main goal of this work was to analyze the impact of the disease on the physiological status of the body of the yearling carp, the state of the antioxidant defense system, and the content of lipid peroxidation products (LPP). The yearling Liubyn scaly carps, with an average weight of 40 g, which were grown in the ponds of the Rivne fish and reclamation station, were selected for experimental research. During control catches and ichthyopathological examination of forty fish, inflammation of the swim bladder was detected with an intensity of 35 %. During the pathological autopsy of this yearling carp, thickening of the walls of the swim bladder with purulent exudate, atrophy of the posterior lobe, and hyperemia of internal organs was found. Data on the content of lipid peroxidation products (LPP) and the state of the antioxidant system (AOS) in the cells of the hepatopancreas and skeletal muscles of this year's carp with SPM have been presented. It was determined that in the hepatopancreas of fish with the swim bladder inflammation, primary and secondary LPP products accumulate, and the activity of AOS enzymes decreases. The increase of diene conjugates in the hepatopancreas of the diseased fish was revealed by 11.8 % compared to the control group, and the content of TBC-active products by 29.8 %. The level of SOD activity is 13.5 % lower in the fish affected by SMP than in the control group. Catalase activity in the hepatopancreas of the diseased fish increases by 11.7 % compared to the control group. There was a 45.5 % decrease in superoxide dismutase activity in the skeletal muscles of fish affected by SBI and a significant increase in the level of catalase (Р < 0.01) compared to the control group. Pathogens that cause diseases of the swim bladder cause also have an inhibitory effect on the activity of enzymes of the antioxidant system, and the content of products of lipid peroxidation increases.

Effectiveness of using high-protein sunflower concentrate in pig feeding

The article studied the dependence of productive qualities and feed cost on the growth of pigs during rearing and fattening with partial (50 %) and complete (100 %) replacement of soybean meal with high-protein protein concentrate “Proglot” in the diet. It was established that the use of partial and complete replacement of soybean meal with high-protein sunflower concentrate in the rearing of piglets led to a decrease in the growing intensity of piglets by 0.87 % with partial and 4.95 % with total replacement. And as a result of a decrease in live weight by 0.3 % at the end of the growing period with a partial and by 1.2 % with a complete replacement of soybean products with sunflower in the starter compound feed. At the same time, feed conversion turned out to be the best in the group of animals that partially replaced soybean meal with high-protein sunflower concentrate – 2.30 kg, which is 1.41 % better than in animals that consumed soybean meal in the starter feed and by 5.37 % compared to animals in which this meal was completely replaced by high-protein sunflower concentrate. Replacing soybean meal with high-protein sunflower concentrate made it possible to reduce the cost of 1 kg of feed by 2.24 % when it was partially replaced and by 4.57 % when it was replaced entirely. The feed cost of 1 kg of growth in piglets that consumed feed with a partial replacement of soybean meal with high-protein sunflower concentrate decreased by 3.64 % and by 3.47 % in animals that completely replaced soybean meal with this product. Animals whose diet was replaced entirely with soybean meal by high-protein sunflower concentrate had the lowest feed cost per head. According to this indicator, they outnumbered peers with partial replacement by 3.83 % and 4.33 %, where such replacement was not done. Animals whose diet was replaced entirely with soybean meal by high-protein sunflower concentrate had the lowest feed cost per head for the entire experiment period. According to this indicator, they were 3.14 % better than their peers, partially replaced by 5.25 %. It was not carried out. The index of fattening qualities of pigs was the highest in pigs with partial replacement of soybean meal with high-protein sunflower concentrate, 31.2 points. In contrast, in animals with the complete replacement, it was 9.75 % lower, and by 2.74 %, and in analogs with such replacement was not conducted. A clear tendency to increase the intensity of growth of piglets was established with the combined use (50/50 %) of soybean meal and high-protein sunflower concentrate. However, the use of only high-protein sunflower concentrate probably reduces this indicator. It was determined that replacing soybean meal with high-protein protein concentrate “Proglot” reduces the cost of feed and, as a result, the cost of feed per unit of growth and per head of pigs after fattening.

The article presents the results of research on the development of adaptive syndrome in the system of erythron and protein of piglets at the effects of weaning stress. After one (anesthetic stage) and seven days (beginning of G.Selle's resistance stage), after the echoing, the adaptation of the erythron system was shown by a decrease in the number of red blood cells on the contrary of increasing the mean corpuscular volume and hemoglobin indicating the inhibition of erythrocytosis with simultaneous macrocytosis, and a decrease in mean Corpuscular hemoglobin concentration for 14.0–13.0 % that indicated hypochromia. In these stressful periods, the catabolism of protein substrates was discovered, the redistribution of albumins between blood and tissues in the form of a decrease in the total protein content by 6.1–7.1 % due to albumin by 14.8–10.0 %, and the deficit of the humoral link of the immune response due to reduction of γ-globulins by 29.9–18.7 %. In the later stages of the resistance stage (after 20 and 60 days after weaning), there was a stabilization of erythrocytic indices and the development of anisocytosis in the form of an increase in red cell distribution width by 19.0 %, with a simultaneous decrease of 6.1 % of the total protein content, redistribution of its fractions in the side of the growth of γ-globulins by 18.4 %. A practical, prolonged way of preventing disorders in the erythron and protein of extramarital piglets was feeding the additive “Biovir”, which stimulated the intensity of oxidative-reducing processes and the exchange of proteins.
