“…Tixi Cave is a refuge located in La Vigilancia hills within the Tandilia mountain range between 37°57′48″ W and 58°2′30″ S at 190 masl (Figure 1). The cave’s area is 40 m 2 and 1.80 m average height (Quintana, 2016). The stratigraphic sequence (Figure 2) compounds six units described by Martínez and Osterrieth (2001) and Quintana (2016), with six radiocarbon ages reported (10,375 ± 90–10,045 ± 95 C 14 , 4865 ± 65 C 14 , 3255 ± 75 C 14 , 1730 ± 80–1220 ± 75 C 14 , 715 ± 45 C 14 , and 170 ± 80 C 14 ) (Mazzanti, 1997; Tonni et al, 1988), where the last record of Eutatus seguini is in 10,375 ± 90–10,045 ± 95 C 14 and the Dusicyon avus record is in 4865 ± 65 C 14 (Mazzanti and Quintana, 1997; Prado et al, 2015).…”
