“…Heavy metals invade the human body through not only the diet but also the skin, which poses a serious risk to human health. Therefore, the development of smart sensors that can respond quickly to low concentrations of heavy metal ions is essential. To evaluate the response sensitivity of PyraTb for Co(II), Cu(II), Fe(III), Mn(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) ions, solutions containing these ions were added to an CH 3 CN solution containing PyraTb , the luminescence was recorded under the optimized conditions, and the LOD for the ions was calculated. Specifically, samples of 10, 30, 60, 100, 150, 200, 300, and 350 μL of an aqueous solution of Co(II) at a concentration of 35 nM were accurately pipetted into a CH 3 CN solution containing 3 mL of PyraTb .…”

“…The formation of a multinuclear cluster is a good way to solve the above problem . MOFs with multinuclear secondary building units (SBUs) can improve the diversity of the structure and the pore aperture due to the large spatial size of cluster nodes. , In addition, from the perspective of the applications, MOFs with larger cavities and pore volumes have a broad prospect as gas storage, drug molecular recognition, and sensing. In addition, the multinuclear SBUs provide rigid connection nodes and make an important contribution to the structure design through variable connection mode, size, and orientation, becoming a more common way to build new MOFs . Meanwhile, the unsaturated coordination of metal clusters not only provides the possibility for the post-modification of MOFs by metals or ligands but also serves as the adsorption sites, which have strong affinity for catalytic substrates or gas molecules, enriching the catalysis, adsorption, and separation performance.…”
