Authors [12] highlighted some of these treaties, which are: the Salamanca Statement and Framework for Action on Special Needs Education [1], the Dakar Framework for Action [13], and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities [14]. In line with being a signatory of international treaties on inclusive education, the country had also initiated four significant policies such as the National policy on education in the year 2014, the national policy on special needs education in 2015, the national policy on inclusive education in Nigeria in 2017 and finally, the discrimination against persons with disabilities (prohibition) act in 2019.…”
