Temperature and Concentration Dependent Viscosity of Microcrystalline Cellulose in Water

Abstract: The viscosity of cellulose behaves differently and uniquely in various conditions. In this paper, we aim to report the viscosity measurement and related properties of low concentration of microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) in water using a magnetic bearing rheometer. Dynamic viscosities for MCC diluted in water at varying concentrations were measured using the standard rheometry technique.
