“…Ciereszko et al 17 reported that AST activity in the cauda epididymal fluid was 12–48 times higher than that found in vesicular gland secretion and semen plasma in the boar. Aksoy et al 18 showed that semen plasma AST activity could be used as a tool to evaluate epididymal function in the ram. In agreement with our findings, a significant postoperative decrease in semen plasma AST activity was noted in rams resulting from epididymal obstruction.…”
