Identidade taxonômica e redefinição de espécies do complexo de Boana calcarata - B. fasciata (Anura: Hylidae)

“…calcarata e B. maculateralis) pela ausência de calcar e pelo repertório vocal composto por mais de um tipo de canto. Dentre as espécies do subclado de B. steinbachi, a população de Assis Brasil pode ser diferenciada de B. alfaroi, B. dentei e B. tetete pela presença de prega dérmica no calcanhar (presença de tubérculo nas outras três espécies), canto tipo 1 composto por uma série de notas (canto tipo 1 formado por uma única nota em B. dentei e B. tetete), pelas notas com intervalos bem definidas (notas parcialmente fundidas em B. alfaroi), e repertório vocal composto por dois cantos distintos (apenas um tipo de canto em B. alfaroi) (Caminer & Ron, 2014;Marinho et al 2020). Nós não encontramos nenhuma diferença morfológica entre a população topotípica de B. steinbachi em comparação à população de Assis Brasil e, portanto, esse nome foi também atribuído à população de Assis Brasil (mas veja as seções Proposições taxonômicas e Discussão).…”
