The assembled and annotated genome of the masked palm civet (Paguma larvata)

Abstract: Background The masked palm civet (Paguma larvata) acts as an intermediate host of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV), which caused SARS, and transfered this virus from bats to humans.
