The avifauna of the National Nature Park "Homilshanski Lisy"

Abstract: In the recreational zone of "Homilshanski Lisy" National Park 137 species of birds were identified during the period 1980–2015, of which 127 species nest, 8 winter, and 2 observed during the spring migration. The nesting species are distributed in 4 ecological groups dominated by dendrophylls (67 species), with fewer limnophylls-fresh water species (29), campophylls-open country species (16) and sclerophylls (11). Among the nesting birds 11 landscape-genetic faunal assemblages were distinguished, dominated by … Show more

“…If the biotope transformation exceeds the threshold of adaptability of a certain species, it leaves the urban forest forever. Limited and specialised species reducing locality under conditions of transformation of natural ecosystems eliminate from the communities of nesting birds (Shupova, 2001;Chaplygina et al, 2016;.…”

“…Variations of characteristics of the forest ecosystem, formed under the influence of urban recreation, have shown the relationships between phytocoenotic parameters and species diversity and density of nesting birds (Conner, Dickson, 1997;Chaplygina et al, 2016).…”

“…In order for studying biodiversity, it is relevant to research on consortium linkages as specific ecological phenomena (Lavrov & Blinkova,63 2018; Blinkova & Ivanenko, 2018). Consideration of the transformation of 'tree-birds' consortium linkages in increasing insight on anthropogenic changes in the condition, productivity and development of tree stands as well as the fulfillment of their target functions is at an early stage (Chaplygina et al, 2016). In order to evaluate the anthropogenic impact effects on botanical gardens, it is advisable to carry out an analysis on a syn-ecological basis with the linkage between phyto-and zoological components (Blinkova & Shupova, 2017.…”

“…In an urbanized environment, they easily inhabit transformed biotopes (Kurosawa, 2009;Shupova, 2014Shupova, , 2017 and adapt themselves to the residence under permanent anthropogenic load. Variations in the composition of bird groups formed under the influence of anthropogenic load make it possible to identify the ecosystem balance degree (Chaplygina et al, 2016). Due to recreational effect, terrestrial microstations for birds disappear in biotopes.…”
