Resumen. El presente texto se acerca al thriller policiaco The Fall bajo una mirada interseccional que, a través del Análisis de Contenido, permite conocer si este serial promueve la inclusividad, especialmente en torno al género, y, con ello, la democratización del campo mediático. Un campo que, en numerosas ocasiones, (re)produce la universalidad del sujeto político normativo ese varón blanco, heterosexual, independiente, de clases medias-altas…, mientras margina al resto de realidades y voces. En conclusión, se puede destacar que esta producción británica, a través de la heroína principal y de su contexto, apuesta por una ruptura del androcentrismo tan típicamente noir en favor de una narración con un trasfondo feminista que problematiza la violencia de género en todas sus dimensiones. The present text assessed the crime thriller The Fall in a intersectional way which, using the Content Analysis tools, allows us to know if this TV series promotes inclusiveness, especially on gender equality, and, thus, the democratization of the media field. A field that, on many other occasions, (re)produces the universality of the normative male model white, heterosexual, independent, middle or upper class… at the expense of other realities. In conclusion, through the female main character and the representation of the cultural, political and social context, this British production criticizes the androcentrism in favour of a feminist narrative that contribute to problematize the gender-based violence in all its dimensions.
