The Burden of Intimate Partner Violence: Evidence, Experience, and Persuasion

Abstract: In domestic violence cases, the production of legal evidence faces several challenges. While scholars have amply discussed the issues of intimacy, dependency, and ambivalence, their relationship with evidence and persuasion appears undertheorized.
