“…They can be indexed to (111), (200), (220) and (311) planes of Ag (JCPDS Card No. 87–0718) [23]. These results indicate that Ag NPs have been successfully deposited on the surface of the Nf samples.…”

“…04−0802). Compared with pure Pt, the formation of PtAg alloy induces a shift of diffraction peaks to low 2θ values, implying a lattice expansion upon the substitution of smaller Pt atom by Ag with a larger size ,,…”

“…The Pt 4f XPS spectrum (Figure 2d) exhibited peaks corresponding to the Pt 4f 7/2 peak at 71.3 eV and the Pt 4f 5/2 peak at 74.8 eV that were close to the Pt foil reference (black line in Figure 2d); these peaks were suggested to be due to spin–orbit splitting arising from Pt having an oxidation state of zero. [ 28 ] However, the slight peak shifts in the Pt 4f spectrum of Pt 1 Ag 24 /g‐C 3 N 4 to lower binding energies than the reference could indicate the possibility of charge transfer within the catalyst [ 24 ] that was not observed in the Ag 3d spectrum. In addition to XPS, XAS was used to confirm the electronic properties of Pt 1 Ag 24 /g‐C 3 N 4 .…”
