Coaches’ emotional expression significantly influences sport environments and is mediated by the social and cultural construction of emotions. Therefore, this study aims to culturally adapt the Assessment of Coach Emotions for the Spanish sports context (ACE-E), provide evidence of its validity and reliability, and propose a suitable model for adapting observation instruments. The study involved coaches, sports psychologists, experts who study emotions, linguists, and translators. It was conducted in three phases. First, a literature review was conducted, and four coaches were interviewed. Secondly, the necessary linguistic and content changes were implemented. Finally, the ACE-E was tested by coding and analyzing 500 min of recordings of eight coaches’ performance and evaluated for reliability, usefulness, and feasibility. The results show that ACE-E receives the same support for validity and reliability as the original instrument in the English language, demonstrating the effectiveness of its cultural adaptation for assessing the emotional expression of Spanish coaches.

This study aims to examine the concept of Working Out Loud (WOL) in measuring the success rate of implementing Enterprise Social Networks (ESNs) in companies. The adoption of this technology has not been widely implemented by companies in Indonesia. Implementing ESNs in companies as a tool to drive increased employee collaboration requires integration of social media and enterprise technology infrastructure. This platform does provide benefits for companies in the areas of innovation, increased productivity, and also employee engagement; but on the other hand there are several failures caused by employee factors that only focus on implementing technology without changing employee behavior patterns and also how to measure this behavior. The concept of Working Out Load (WOL) is an indicator tool that can be used to measure the success of ESNs implementation. Although the concept of WOL is still unclear, it provides many benefits. Not much research has discussed the benefits that exist in this relationship. The initial hypothesis of this study is that the two behavioral factors above exist and influence each other but are different, so measurements can be made with the developed scale. This study uses a survey distributed to employees of PT. Djarum (one of the large companies in Indonesia) which has implemented ESNs technology in the period October - November 2022. Processing exploratory analysis and data confirmation using SPSS 22 and AMOS 22 with a total of 313 respondents; which was divided randomly with 200 respondents for confirmation analysis and the rest as data for exploratory analysis. Departing from the abnormal nature and ordinal nature of the item scale used, this study uses the Spearman method (not Pearson). This aims to confirm the hypothesis so as to produce a rating scale for individuals and groups of WOL, so that researchers and practitioners can find WOL behavior in a company as a continuous process. The results of this study can be used as a reference for companies in Indonesia to develop ESN technology and measure the success rate of their operations.

Ayurveda has a holistic and person-centric approach towards health and disease, which in turn necessitates consideration of several factors in the process of a diagnostic workup. This concept of personalised diagnosis brings about a high level of variability among the clinicians with respect to their assessment methods and disease diagnosis. Developing and validating diagnostic tools for diseases enumerated in the Ayurvedic classical textbooks can help in standardising the clinical approach, even when attempting to arrive at a patient specific diagnosis. However, diagnostic research is a very less explored area in Ayurveda and there are no established standards for developing and evaluating diagnostic tools. This paper reviews the methodology for the development and validation of diagnostic tools, available in published literature and proposes to integrate this in the field of Ayurveda. The search was conducted on online databases including PubMed, Science Direct, Scopus, and Google scholar, with keywords - ayurvedic diagnosis, diagnostic tool development, validity, reliability, and diagnostic test assessment. The articles were screened based on their comprehensiveness, relevance, and feasibility, and the methodology elaborated in the selected articles was organized into a framework that can be adopted in Ayurveda. We have also tried to examine the methodological challenges of integrating the fundamentals of ayurvedic diagnosis within the current methods of diagnostic research and explored possible solutions. The proposed tool development process involves both qualitative and quantitative components, which may be carried out in three phases that include setting the diagnostic criteria, tool development and validation, and diagnostic test assessment.
