Abstract:CCDC no.: 1520552The asymmetric unit of the title crystal structure is shown in the gure. Tables 1 and 2 contain details on crystal structure and measurement conditions and a list of the atoms including atomic coordinates and displacement parameters.
Source of materialThe title compound was prepared by nitrifying 1-menthyl-2,4,5-triiodoimidazole. It was recrystallized from acetone solution at room temperature to give colorless crystals suitable for single-crystal X-ray di raction.
“…The least-squares has angles to the plane through the five atoms (C1, C2, C3, N3, N4) and angles to the two nitro groups of 14.2°(O1, N2, O2) and 9.2°(O3, N1, O4). These findings are in total accord with the literature [12].…”

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
