The Determination of Nurses and Midwives’ Opinions and Expectations on In-Service Training Practices

Abstract

Hemşire ve ebelerin mezuniyet sonrası bilim ve teknolojideki değişim ve gelişime uyum sağlayabilmesi, hasta bakımı ile ilgili güncel bilgi ve uygulamaları takip etmesi, o alandaki eğitimin sürekliliği ile mümkün olup hizmet içi eğitimi önemli kılmaktadır. Amaç: Araştırmada, ikinci ve üçüncü basamak sağlık kurumlarında uygulanan hizmet içi eğitimlerine yönelik hemşire ve ebelerin görüş ve beklentilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki araştırmanın örneklemini, Eylül-Aralık 2017 tarihleri arasında İstanbul ilinde 10 sağlık kurumunda görevli 317 hemşire ve ebe oluşturdu. Araştırma verileri 17 sorudan oluşan "Yapılandırılmış Soru Formu" kullanılarak toplandı. Veriler tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemlerle analiz edildi. Önemlilik düzeyi p<0,05 olarak kabul edildi. Bulgular: Hizmet içi eğitim duyurularının çoğunlukla resmi yazı (%38) ile yapıldığı, eğitimlerin ise büyük oranda düz anlatım yöntemi (%48,9) ve barkovizyon (slayt) (%50,1) kullanılarak genellikle çalışma saatleri içerisinde (%94,6) gerçekleştirildiği saptandı. Ancak, bu eğitim etkinliklerinin çok azının (%12,8) değerlendirildiği belirlendi. Katılımcıların, hizmet içi eğitimlere uygun olmayan "hizmet içi eğitim saatleri" (%30,6) ve "personel yetersizliği" (%28,3) gibi nedenlerle katılamadıkları bulundu. Eğitim düzeyi ile mesleki yenilikleri takip etme durumları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptandı (p<0,05). Sonuç: Hizmet içi eğitim uygulamalarında kurumsal farklılıkların olduğu, ebe ve hemşirelerin bu eğitimlere katılımlarını engelleyen farklı faktörlerin olduğu saptandı.

Relationship between nurses' perceptions of distance in-service training activities and job motivations
