Abstract:The article considers the role of geoinformation technologies in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. The urgency of the creation of the reference-cartographic system “Cultural Heritage of the Novosibirsk Region” is proved. The developed requirements for reference-cartographic GIS, its content and structure are given. A technological scheme for creating reference-cartographic GIS objects of cultural heritage is proposed. A developed system of symbols and main results of the study are presented.
