The diagnostic dilemma of pathological appearance and performance enhancing drug use

Abstract: Appearance and performance enhancing drug (APED) use includes the use of a range of pharmacologically distinct substances and concurrent investment in outward appearance or achievement, dietary control, and frequent exercise.
