“…Liu et al (2017) confirmed that considering the educational needs of home caregivers and their ability to adapt to conditions is necessary for reducing the burden of care. In a study conducted in Iran by Ashghali Farahani et al (2021), families in the intervention group received eight educational sessions (2 weeks before discharge to home and 6 weeks after discharge) which significantly lowered the burden of care In contrast, the burden of care increased in the control group who received routine hospital training (Ashghali Farahani et al, 2021).
