Abstract: Background The abdominal drawing-in maneuver (ADIM) is a core stability exercise through the activation of the transversus abdominis and internal abdominal oblique (TrA/IO). However, controlling muscle activity of TrA/IO is difficult, especially when combined with other exercises.
