Abstract: Needle Stick Injury or NSI is a term for occupational accidents experienced by health workers caused by needling or sharp medical objects that have been contaminated with infectious fluid from a patient. Potential transmission of disease infections can occur due to needles / sharp used medical items used for patients who injure the exposed staff.
