The effect of limiting feeding time by three and six hours per day during the starter period on broiler performance

Abstract: In a completely randomized design, one hundred and twenty one-day old (Arbor acres) broiler chicks were randomly distributed in three treatments, five replicates with eight chicks per a replicate. The treatments were: 24 h ad libitum feeding (A), B feed removal from 9:00 to 12:00 noon (3 fasting hours) and C feed removal from 9:00 to 3:00 pm (6 fasting hours).
