The effect of the occurrence of a magnetic field of a current loop in hybrid graphene / C60 carbon systems

Abstract: In this article, using in silico methods we investigate the simultaneous effect of temperature, external electric field, and structural defects of graphene atomic network on the patterns of positioning of the C 60 molecule on a graphene sheet. The conditions for the appearance of a circular current on graphene during the ordered motion of a charged C 60 fullerene controlled by regularly adsorbed hydrogen atoms and external electric field are found. Numerical experiments are carried out using the molecular dyna… Show more

“…The search for graphene/metal composites is a new and actively developing branch of composite technologies [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ]. The main component of these composites is graphene, which has low weight, high strength, and flexibility, as well as high electrical and thermal conductivity [ 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 ]. Such unique properties of graphene, added to the metal matrix, lead to the formation of composites with special properties that have use for future applications.…”

“…Graphene, a well-known twodimensional material, gave a fresh concept for new three-dimensional (3D) structures with complex architecture fabricated on the basis of graphene [2][3][4]. Carbon structures with unique electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties are of great interest today [5][6][7][8][9][10][11]. Recently, considerable attention has been paid to graphene fibers, a new type of carbon fiber consisting of many monolayers of wrinkled and crumpled graphene sheets [12][13][14][15][16][17].…”
