Abstract:In Indonesia, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in 2013 was 30.2% and increased in 2018 to 37.3%. Thus, the prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding is still below the achievement target of the 2021 RPJMN (45%) (Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia, 2020). Indonesia has the highest infant mortality rate in Southeast Asia. The main causes of infant death include diarrhea, malnutrition and infection.
