The effectiveness of gonio-associated transluminal trabeculotomy against the background of silicone tamponade of the vitreous cavity

Abstract

The main goal of glaucoma treatment is to preserve visual functions and quality of life of patients. In recent years, in connection with the development of vitreoretinal surgery, a number of complications has appeared, one of which is ophthalmic hypertension and progressive glaucomatous damage to the optic disc. An analysis was made of the surgical treatment of 12 patients (12 eyes) with secondary glaucoma after vitreoretinal surgery with the removal of SO 1300 according to gonioscopy-assisted transluminal trabeculotomy (GATT) technique in order to evaluate efficacy and safety.
