To develop powerful wind turbine generators using superconducting technology, highperformance superconducting racetrack coils are essential. Herein, we report an evaluation of a multifilamentary magnesium diboride (MgB2) conductor-based racetrack coil cooled and impregnated simultaneously by solid nitrogen (SN2).
