The efficacy of the inorganic copper-based biocide CuWB50 is compromised by hard water

Abstract: Aims:  We sought to explain the unexpected failure of the inorganic copper‐based biocide CuWB50 to effectively decontaminate microfibre cleaning cloths that became contaminated with Acinetobacter lwoffii.
