In the evolving landscape of digital technology and global economic integration, the pivotal role of electronic business (E-business) in transforming traditional market structures and establishing new commercial paradigms has been increasingly recognized. This study focuses on the appraisal of E-business development amidst ongoing digitalization. Central to the investigation is the formulation of a contemporary information system model for Ebusiness evaluation. The research delineates the essential factors influencing E-business progression and identifies potential improvement areas. The primary subject of this analysis encompasses the modern information and technological systems underpinning electronic business operations. Evidence suggests that the technical state of a fundamental intangible asset, namely the E-commerce website, considerably influences cash flow generation. Notably, site visitors, whether organic, referred, or paid, do not uniformly convert into customers. This study establishes various criteria for the model's construction and introduces a comprehensive metric: an integral coefficient reflecting the website's technical condition, which directly affects visitor-to-customer conversion rates. A novel methodology for assessing internal factors impacting E-business cash flows has been developed. This approach enables the evaluation of an enterprise's technical features and the identification of deficiencies impeding potential sales, using the integral site condition coefficient. This research makes a significant contribution by presenting an innovative information model for E-business assessment in the tourism sector.

An increase in current investment in the digital economy of Indonesia is needed to leverage the potential of human capital more effectively for the country to experience healthier economic growth. An analysis of Indonesia's socio-economic situation in 2020 is conducted by analyzing trends in the population's economic abilities, digital data connectivity, and education levels, then comparing the utilization of these resources to population case studies, social and economic theories, and documented research of government and private organizations. Based on previous economic studies, human capital investment parameters were chosen that revealed that investing in the human capital of a country's population promotes economic growth through economic empowerment, education, and technological advancement. This paper samples statistics from 2017 up to the first quarter of 2020 of the digital economy and labour market. In addition, this paper provides some review of the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic related to investing in human capital to stimulate economic growth. Most of the statistics used in this study are sourced from federal agencies, and some are sourced from private organizations. Comparative analysis of the statistics reveals that services from the digital economy provide virtual presence; social connectivity; and data availability, access, and utilization. Also, the country's human capital financing endeavours through Peer to Peer (P2P) lending and investing in human capital education is important to stimulate economic growth. Furthermore, productivity gains in business operations can increase across Indonesia's industries if workers' skillset in the labour market can be advanced through accessible training, such as online learning and certification platforms. The current study contributes to the literature by shedding light on the need for human capital investment.

Schumpeter's one-hundred-year-old modernised theory of economic development is once again having a renaissance. The main factors of this are innovation and capital, which Porter expanded using further factors. In this report the following six countries were examined: Montenegro, Serbia, Russia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary. Between 2007 and 2017, the roles that technological innovation, human factors and higher education played were examined. Indices used in the analysis were expanded using factors added to Schumpeter's theory by Porter, viz., economic growth, the development of the information technology sector, higher education, productivity and innovation, and they give an overview of the modern innovation theories. Due to the objectiveness of statistical indicators, it was these which were predominantly included in the report. The aim of the study was to examine will a given country be likely to have an economic development if the country makes the most of the opportunities that innovation and higher education present.JEL classification: I25, O11, O30, O47, R11
