The Impact of Environmental Information Disclosure on Water Quality

Abstract: The strain of environmental deterioration is growing in tandem with the rapid growth of the economy. This research examines the impact of regional environmental information disclosure on water quality in China. The results show that the higher the degree of information disclosure is, the more neutral the water environment. Based on the baseline regression, the study analyses the mediation effect and moderating effect. The results show that urbanization rate plays a part role in mediation effect.
