“…These studies have found that mental health comorbidities are influential factors in medication adherence, with depression being considered the most closely related comorbidity among these patients. 29 In the past 10 years, New York was the first American state to launch an Ending the Epidemic (ETE) initiative to end the epidemic by reducing the number of people infected with HIV.
