“…By always maintaining a decrease in the frequency of accidents in the environment can improve sustainable supply chain management. This result is in line with the RBV theory put forward by Tseng et al (2022), Wang et al (2017) and Ye et al (2022) that companies that are able to make good use of their resources can create something that is an advantage for the company compared to other companies. By maintaining the frequency of work accidents and implementing the right strategy in the production process will improve the performance of sustainable supply chain management.…”

“…Structural social capital stimulates managerial communication and technical exchanges between supply chain partners (Lawson et al, 2008). It is operationalized to reflect information sharing, similar to studies such as Zhang et al (2020), Lawson et al (2008) and Ye et al (2023).…”

“…Relational social capital emphasizes the assets derived through or embedded in inter-firm relationships (Nahapiet and Ghoshal, 1998) and entails the quality of inter-firm relationships and how they emerge and strengthen over time (Whipple et al, 2015). Relational social capital is built upon mutual trust, respect and friendship (Nahapiet and Ghoshal, 1998) and is often conceptualized to embody trust and relationship commitment (Ye et al, 2023). Thus, the relational dimension of SCSC embodies the relational assets embedded in supply chain relationships, which comprise trust and commitment that serve as a governance mechanism that ensures the production and maintenance of collective assets within the supply chain (Yim and Leem, 2013;Acquah et al, 2023).…”

“…Even though the link between social capital and resilience has been examined, the results have been inconclusive (Golgeci and Kuivalainen, 2020). A more recent study by Ye et al, (2022) explored the relationship between social capital (and its three componentsstructural, cognitive, and relational capital) and supply chain performance. However, there are very few instances where the link between relational capital and supply chain responsiveness has been explicitly examined.…”
