The Impact of the Thickness of the Ceramic Shell Mould on the (γ + γ′) Eutectic in the IN713C Superalloy Airfoil Blade Casting

Abstract: In the study the wall thickness of ceramic shell mould influence on (γ + γ') eutectic in the IN713C nickel-based superalloy airfoil blade casting was described. Two castings formed as a blade from two wax pattern assemblies were analysed. In the experiment in one pattern the thick ceramic layer was obtained on pressure side and in another one on suction side of the airfoil blade. The microstructure of the crosssections of the castings were observed on polished and etched metallographic specimens. The microstruc… Show more

“…Regardless, such system may be useful for creating of local mappings with support of a photogrammetry and an image analysis [8,9], and an additional supporting system for an non-parametric uncertainty estimation [10][11][12]. The ability to obtain precise position records and appropriate control is very valuable during field testing in engineering research, both machine [13,14] and materials science [15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23]. It is obvious that such RTK GPS utilizing system will have a great impact on a structure and capabilities of management systems in any domain where it will be applied [24][25][26][27][28][29].…”

“…Basic conditions that should be met by SIP formworks are to ensure proper connection of the formwork with the monolithic part of the structure and allow a correct execution of reinforcement work. Moreover, at the moment of commencement of concrete works, formwork bearing elements should have proper strength and stiffness to enable a safe transfer of loads from the weight or pressure of the concrete mix [15,16].…”
