The implementation of project-based learning to enhance the technological-content-knowledge for pre-service physics teacher in ICT courses

Abstract: The pre-service teachers must be prepared to integrate technology into classroom learning. This technical capability must be adapted to the material to be taught. Material for physics has a different character, especially in the selection of media. Media on one material is not necessarily suitable for other materials. The pre-service physics teacher must have the ability to analyze content and find appropriate technology in making media. This study was aimed to implement project learning for ICT based learning… Show more

“…Thus far, research on deep learning has rarely involved in‐service teachers, and mostly focused on students and preservice teachers (Muliyati et al, 2020; Zhou & Xiao, 2018). As the guide of students' learning, researchers should also pay attention to teachers' learning.…”

“…Technology-based learning media in the education sector, especially in this era, is critical to delivering learning material to participants that is more interesting and interactive so that the presence of technology can appropriately penetrate space and time limitations in improving the quality of learning (Saade et al, 2012;June et al, 2014;Frohberg et al, 2019;Parker, 2020). The development of technology-based interactive learning media will likely increase students' interest in physics lessons and understand the discussion topics presented by the teacher so that students' learning outcomes improve (Khasanah & Rusman, 2021;Rahim et al, 2020;Muliyati et al, 2020;Dasilva et al, 2019;Chasani & Yennita, 2019).…”

“…Currently, in the implementation of learning, advances in information, communication, and Technology (ICT) are certainly inseparable. The current research trend is that physics teachers are competing to develop interesting teaching media as a form of implementing ICT in the classroom such as, e-learning, videos, animations, and e-modules [3].…”
