Performance is one of the key objectives of any company. The possibility of increasing results while reducing costs without losing quality creates the basis for cost-effective activities, sustainable development. Such a task is especially acute in modern conditions of instability. The article considers the issue of improving the efficiency of the construction company. This question is illustrated by a practical example, in particular, the company «Neopolia», operating in the city of Irkutsk, is considered. Based on the results of the study of the financial and economic activities of «Neopolia», the article formulated recommendations for improving its effectiveness. So to achieve a more effective level of activity of Neopolia, according to the authors, creates the possibility of implementing a concentrated growth strategy. This strategy involves changing the product and market, in other words, the goal of the company in this case is to improve the existing product or produce a new one, remaining in the same industry, as well as finding the possibility of strengthening competitive advantages in the target market or switching to a new one.
