The Importance of Heat Emission Caused by Global Energy Production in Terms of Climate Impact

Abstract: The global warming phenomenon is commonly associated with the emission of greenhouse gases. However, there may be other factors related to industry and global energy production which cause climate change—for example, heat emission caused by the production of any useful form of energy. This paper discussed the importance of heat emission—the final result of various forms of energy produced by our civilization. Does the emission also influence the climate warming process, i.e., the well-known greenhouse effect? … Show more

“…Hard coal, due to its rich deposits, is and will be the basic energy source in the country in the next decade [9,10,11,12,13]. Hard coal mining in Poland has been undergoing restructuring for many years in order to adapt the business structure and economic efficiency to the current market requirements [14,15,16]. Coal mine companies take steps aimed at improving management processes by rationalizing the internal processes and introducing tools to support the implementation of their strategies [17,18].…”

“…This is mainly due to the increase in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions such as carbon dioxide (CO 2 ), water vapors (H 2 O), methane (CH 4 ), chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) etc. [70,71]. A planet warming up due to high concentrations of greenhouse gases leads to changes in the climate [72].…”

“…Therefore, it is obvious that energy consumption forecasting is the fundamental of energy sector's management. The document "The European Green Deal" [3] approved by the member states of the European Union sets out the objectives that Europe must achieve by 2050 regarding climate neutrality [4,5,6,7]. It is a new strategy for transforming the EU into a fair and prosperous society, with a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy that has no net greenhouse gas emissions and where economic growth is decoupled from resource use [3].…”
