ConclusionAlthough intralipids as a source of calories have been applied for several years, there are rare reports in the case of rescuing effect in many toxicities specially bupivacaine cardiotoxicity. So, more trials are still essential to clarify the basic mechanism of intralipids regarding to heart protection and resulting new applications.
