Geoproducts have a specific philosophy, a geological relationship that visible and understandable through the utilization of geological and geomorphological features from diversity of geological, biological and cultural heritage then strengthened by geo-brand as added value of the product. As local products of certain region, geoproducts as an unique tourism product, through membership of Geopark Global Network (GGN), play role identifying the geopark itself and become market tools where geo-brands can take it. Samosir Island, as part of Toba Caldera Geopark, is the world's greatest Caldera with outstanding potential, became member of GGN in year of 2020. Data processing in this study used smartPLS SEM (Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling) software.Various tourism products as geoproducts activity grow, whereas geoproducts are expected to follow the philosophy then becoming sector in development region of geopark, yet have no geo-brand. The geological relationships significantly impact the rise of tourism activities in the regional development of Toba Caldera. This is achieved by incorporating the products' geological, biological, and cultural factors. Usin g geological features must catch up to its potential as a world heritage site. Therefore, it is crucial to maintain these highly delicate elements through geotourism. A study was conducted on geoproduct actors from the supply side of tourism to see how the geological relationship is related to various products that can provide regional development in principle of sustainability a nd how geoproduct actors comprehend geo-brand on their products as an identity of worldwide product.

This study examines the response to and support of the UNESCO recommendations on behalf of geo-tourism using the actual perspectives of tourists visiting the Toba region. The study employed a detailed map of Toba Geo-tourism in the Sumatra Utara Province, Indonesia, so as to provide a comprehensive understanding. The research was underpinned by a random sampling approach, gathering responses from a broad spectrum of tourists. The results captured an optimistic landscape, demonstrating a clear synergy between the UNESCO recommendations and the sentiments of the tourists. Not only did the guidelines resonate, but there was also a palpable feeling among tourists to either extend their stay or make a subsequent visit, provided the recommendations were implemented holistically. This study stresses the value of adopting and localising global sustainable tourism standards to suit a region such as Toba's unique attributes and tourist expectations. By means of this research, we aim to amplify that dialogue, charting a path for Toba and similar regions to embrace a future that is both ecologically sensitive and visitor centric.

The study of polarization of stakeholder perceptions is important to consider the policies that must be taken by area managers related to the development of interpretation programs in national park areas. This study was aimed to analyze and evaluate the characteristics of the subject of interpretation that are considered important by stakeholders, to analyze the differences in perceptions among stakeholders of the attractiveness of the subject of interpretation and to determine the polarization of perceptions of the subject of interpretation among stakeholders in relation to the management of Gunung Halimun Salak National Park (TNGHS). Stakeholder perception data was obtained by distributing a closed pattern questionnaire. Cluster analysis was used to determine the variety of stakeholder perception in interpretation subjects within the TNGHS area. As for knowing the direction and scale of the polarization of stakeholder perceptions, it was analyzed by Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney test. The results showed that the largest polarization among stakeholders occurred in the cultural subjects, and the direction of polarization was negative. This indicates the weak attractiveness of the subject of cultural interpretation to stakeholders. The greater commonality of perception between the community and managers forms the basis for the development of cultural interpretations. This development is expected to bridge the community's needs for the TNGHS area as well as provide stronger support for the management of the national park area.
