The Increasing Self-Efficacy and Self-Regulated through GeoGebra Based Teaching reviewed from Initial Mathematical Ability (IMA) Level

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify improvements in Self Efficacy and self-regulated through GeoGebra Based Teaching seen from the level of students' initial mathematical abilities. The research method used was a mixed-method with a sequential explanatory strategy, while the research design was an untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. the experimental group obtained direct learning using GeoGebra software while the control group obtained conventional learning. The population in this s… Show more

“…The results of the small group trial show that digital books are worthy of being a source of student learning, this can be shown from the responses of students who mostly recommend digital books to become a learning resource in macroeconomics lectures. The results obtained indicate that students basically want interesting and flexible learning, but this is mostly not done often because it is constrained by monotonous and boring learning resources (Zaki et al, 2020;Zetriuslita et al, 2020). Most students expect a learning innovation to come from the method or source of learning such as the use of digital books.…”

“…Self-efficacy has a major influence on behavior. If an individual has high self-efficacy, he will be able to face all the tasks and problems in his life (Pellas, 2014;Zetriuslita et al, 2020). Computer self-efficacy is conceptualized as an undergraduate student's judgment and belief in his/her capability to impactively execute, perform and succeed in CBT and other computer-related activities (Hatlevik et al, 2018b;Taruh et al, 2019).…”

“…The importance of mathematics cannot be separated from the benefits of mathematics in life. Mathematics is a logical way of thinking (Sagala & Andriani, 2019;Zetriuslita et al, 2020). Mathematics can improve the ability to think logically, analytically, systematically, critically, and creatively, as well as the ability to work together.…”
