Southeast Asia (SEA) has emerged as a critical battleground for global powers . China, US and BRIC are playing a central role in shaping the geopolitical dynamics of region. As the largest economy within BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa), China leverages its economic statecraft through initiatives like the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnerships to solidify its influence in SEA region. Framed by its strategic competition with the United States, India and the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD), the role of China presence in Southeast Asia as mutipolars. This paper explores China's geopolitical strategy to highlight its use of economic diplomacy, infrastructure development and bilatral agreements to foster regional dominance. The responses of Southeast Asian nations have adopted hedging strategies to balance economic ties with China while maintaining security relationships with the U.S. and other powers.
